This Buffoon over-uses intense emotional displays as a means of persuasion but, more often than not, looks and sounds dumb doing it. Who better personifies those characteristics than Sen. Cory Booker, aka "Spartacus" himself?
From his fits of anger during the Kavanaugh confirmation, to his unbridled tears of joy during the Brown-Jackson confirmation, Booker's "hot and cold" act overshadows whatever point he tries to make, which probably had little to offer anyways.
Learn more about this and other kinds of Buffoons by picking up my book "Schnooks, Crooks, Liars & Scoundrels: A Field Guide To Identifying Political Buffoons".
