Know Your Buffoons! Buffoonicus parasitos

Have you heard of a "snollygoster". It's an old-time Americanism that is defined as “a pretentious boaster”, and a “fellow who wants office, regardless of party, platform or principle, and who, whenever he wins, gets there by the sheer force of monumental talknophical assumnacy." Whatever that means! I like to think of them as political Leeches.

The biggest Leech in office today, in my humble opinion, is AOC. Can anyone point me to any piece of legislation that she sponsored which actually passed? Nothing really comes to mind. Yet, she's always in the news. She's always feathering her personal nest. Her net value has skyrocketed, thanks to her "public service". That's a classic Leech on the system: talking a big game, but accomplishing nothing. Like that stupid dress she wore to the Met Gala with "Tax The Rich" emblazoned on it. That's a perfect example of a "Leech" caring more about making a good show rather than making good policy.
